WNCC Cougar Bookstore is proud to offer you the most competitive shipping rates. All of our shipments are professionally packed to ensure the safety of your items in route.

Return Policy

Please Note

ORIGINAL CASH REGISTER RECEIPT/WEB RECEIPT IS REQUIRED FOR ALL REFUNDS/EXCHANGES.

    Returns will be credited in the same matter as purchased:
  • FINANCIAL AID REFUNDS: Will be credited back to the students account.
  • CREDIT/DEBIT CARD REFUNDS: Will be refunded to the credit/debit card used to purchase.
  • CHECKS: There is a 10-day waiting period before a refund is issued by check from the Business Office.

Textbooks

    All returns must meet the following conditions to receive a full refund:
  • Full refund is permitted within the first 10 days of class for the Fall and Spring Semesters with sales receipt.
  • For 8-week terms and the Summer session a full refund during the first 5 days of class with sales receipt.
  • Books must be in the same condition as purchased. New books must be UNOPENED, UNMARKED, UNREAD and the SHRINK-WRAP cannot be removed or broken.
  • Any new textbook that comes with an ACCESS CODE, CD, DISC or other added value material cannot have the seal broken or be opened to receive a full refund.
  • Defective copies of new textbooks are exchanged, and defective used textbooks may have to be replaced with a new textbook for an additional charge.
  • All refunds are subject to the discretion of the store management.
  • Shipping costs are not refunded on any shipment sent from Cougar Bookstore.

General Merchandise

    All returns must meet the following conditions to receive a full refund:
  • Returns and/or exchanges must be made within two weeks of the purchase date on the receipt.
  • All tags must still be attached to any merchandise being returned or exchanged, and merchandise must be in it's original condition.
  • All software, clearance items, art supplies and school supply sales are non-refundable.
  • All refunds are subject to the discretion of the store management.
  • Shipping costs are not refunded on any shipment sent from Cougar Bookstore.
